Dr. Biswajit Pathak (Ramanujan Fellow, Physics) received the Most Popular Activity Award for outstanding contribution as an Event Officer of the Holography and Diffractive Optics Technical Group, OPTICA – one of the world’s leading Optics and Photonics Society. 

Mr. Harikrishnan P, received one of the Best Posters Awards for the work titled "Laser Wavelength Calibration using Saganc Interferometer" at SCOPOSIS 2025 (Student Conference on Optics and Photonics (SCOP) and the 48th Optical Society of India Symposium (OSIS)) organized at Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad during 8-12 December 2025. 

Prof. C. S. Narayanamurthy received the 2022 Galileo Galilei Medal of the International Commission for Optics from ICO Secretary Humberto Michinel at the International Conference AOP 2024, held at the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal, on 19 July 2024. The Galileo Galilei award carries a silver medal, a citation, and a prize of USD 1,000.
